I have deleted all instances of 1.4 from my machines now since 1.5 was
released so it will not be possible for me to try this test but I am
sure you are right.

Is there a Groovy unit test suite in the CVS archive I can try running /
adding to help find the 1.4 -> 5.0 problems?

I will add a bug to the issue database.
