--- NEW FILE: README ---
This directory is a placeholder for an upcoming
library that implements different kinds of
cryptographic hash algorithms.

For now a Scheme (the language) reference
implementation is added in the schemd5
directory. Please refer to schemd5/README
for details.

In the middle term, a transcription of schemd5
in Dylan will be made available in this place.
