[Bug 182462] kwin crashes during shutdown/logout

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=182462 --- Comment #13 from Niko Vuokko <niko vuokko tkk fi> 2009-05-28 08:53:15 --- Using 'export LIBXCB_ALLOW_SLOPPY_LOCK=1' in kde 4.2.3 across the system makes the crash disappear for me at least. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ kwin mailing list kwin@xxxxxxx https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kwin

[Bug 193716] kwin won't cycle through screens

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=193716 Martin GrÃÃlin <ubuntu@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID --- Comment #3 from Martin GrÃÃlin <ubuntu martin-graesslin com> 2009-05-28 11:31:16 --- Just tested a little bit more. It also works with "active screen follows mouse". * If SCREEN_A has active client and mouse is on SCREEN_A focus is given to window on SCREEN_B. * If SCREEN_A has active client and mouse is on SCREEN_B focus is not changed as the active screen follows mouse and is in that case SCREEN_B, so switch to next screen is SCREEN_A. So this is for me the expected behaviour for active screen follows mouse. So there is no bug. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ kwin mailing list kwin@xxxxxxx https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kwin

[Bug 194336] dim inactive effect quickly applied to desktop on update

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=194336 --- Comment #1 from charly ghislain <charlyghislain gmail com> 2009-05-28 02:55:31 --- this bug occurs only when the desktop loose focus (when it would be dimmed if the option was selected); not when focus pass from a windows to another one directly. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ kwin mailing list kwin@xxxxxxx https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kwin

[Bug 194338] New: Windows behavior and desktop effects settings usablility

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=194338 Summary: Windows behavior and desktop effects settings usablility Product: kwin Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS/Version: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kwin@xxxxxxx ReportedBy: charlyghislain@xxxxxxxxx Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources Hi, The option under Windows behavior->Windows switching "Show window list while switching" override the "Effect for desktop switching" Chosen in Desktop->Desktop effects. No big deal, but thats an example of settings inconsistency across different modules. As for now, one could wonder why his chosen effect for switching is not applied if he doesn't go in another module to make sure he has checked a box. Since i can't set bug to low priority, I post this as a wish.
