Jaunty, find command from icon

Hi,

On hardy I can right-click on a desktop application icon and access the 
properties.
I can also launch an application from the K Menu in a shell.
Those are 2 ways to find the name (command) of an application.

In Jaunty none of this works.
Any idea?
Or else, just where does Shiretoko lives (under what name)?
