Firefox on Jaunty has been horrible. (As has much else. Perhaps the Queen can 
use a new word for her next "Annus Jauntius" -- anyhoo, I digress.)

One idea -- when I have Amarok open and paused (or playing) then sound in 
Flash does not work. I have to stop the playing and *close* Amarok and then 
refresh (and sometimes restart) Firefox.

For this reason I use Audacious to play music. Well, it also kicks bottom.

So, have a look at what may be using sound already.
