I hate to say this but I hate ';-)' systray icon.

1) It is out-of-style (see attached screenshot).

2) It is not culture-neutral in any case. 

3) It looks funny for some people (at least for first time), but for people who
uses kopete on daily basis, it may be really annoying.

KDE 3 icon was a way better.
