I just posted a few patches at linux1394-devel which fix smaller
problems that could lead to such command timeouts. These patches are
also available in the "experimental" patchkits at
http://me.in-berlin.de/~s5r6/linux1394/updates/. But as far as I have
seen with the one affected HDD here, and from what I learned during
writing these patches, there are still several issues to solve in sbp2.
IOW today's patches do not fix the problem of random "aborting sbp2
command" for me yet.
