Are you sure you wanted to send that to pim-users? It seems like a more
general issue. Are there no other widespread fonts for use? I've never been
on a system, for instance, without Lucida, Luxi and Utopia. Those seem to
cover the 8859-1 through 8859-15 well enough (but I'm no real judge of what
characters show up on the eastern side of the EU).

DD is a cartoon character and ITP has something to do with tennis, so you
might want to speak a non-distribution-specific subset of English in order to
get your point across.
