Error in KNODE

SuSE 9.1, KDE 3.3.2 level a, 
Recently I started getting an error message from one news group in knode.

news.php.net

The message reads: Unable to Connect
                            Operation now in Progress

I've deleted the news group and recreated it, still get the error. All other 
news groups are working fine. Any Ideas of what to check would help.
