Kontact - Calendar Month View - colour text etc?

Using coulours is very useful, and I have set up a few. However, I 
cannot find a way to change either text cour or background (to text) 
colour, of a Calendar Event, which is black. This is the same as month 
name and date numbers, and days of the week headings and gets a bit hard 
to see at a  rapid glance.
Any suggestions about how I get to use fonts with colour, and character 
background highlights in month view?
