Kmail Tray Icon switches always to mail in kontact

Hi -
        I have a question about the mail tray icon. I set it to be always on. I 
think 
(but I'm not absolutely sure), that previously (kontact version KDE3.3.2) the 
component last selected appeared when I clicked the tray icon. After the 
update to KDE 3.4 it always switches to the mail component. 

Assuming my poor brain does not play tricks on me and the icon did not always 
switched to the mail component before the update, I'd like to ask

a) Was the behaviour deliberately changed (which has some logic to it)?

b) Is it possible for me to go back to the old behaviour by changing the 
configuration? I couldn't find a setting that does that. I find it nicer to 
have the summary first and check in which folders the mail arrived.
