I'd go so far as to say that this isn't needed with KMail at this point
in time - I just hover over the link and look in the status bar at the
lower left; inevitably the URL shown there is different from the
apparent one.

Furthermore, since KMail defaults to not displaying HTML email as such,
the spoofs are even easier to spot (if you receive HTML email on a
regular basis from a certain sender then just create a folder that
allows HTML to be displayed and then create a filter to move it there).
