The KDE libraries are not designed to run with suid privileges.

I noticed that I just got this message after trying to run kscd from console. 
I attempted to load it from the menu, and it bombed out.

How do I fix this?

On the side of the software box, in the 'System Requirements' section, it said 
'Requires Windows 95 or better'. So I installed Linux and lived happily ever 
after.
