[SLE] Awesome Icons & my failure to install them

Hi All,

There are some new Icons at KDE-Look Org 
called Noia for KDE

They are very appealing to me, and  I'm sure others will like them. I have had 
problems installing them on a SuSE 8.1 KDE 3.0.5 system that is up to date.

Here is what I did:
D/L'd them and extracted them to a directory called /~/noia. The new dir 
contains directories called 16X16, 22X22, etc thru 64X64, an "index.desktop" 
config file, a change log and readme.

The install directions say to open control panel, go to 'Look n Feel', choose 
'Icons' and browse to the directory that has the new icons and select them, 
then use the control panel 'install icon theme' to install them. 

This is where I fail. I click on the 'folder' and select the /~/noia dir and 
then choose the 'index.desktop' file then click OK, then click 'Install New 
Theme' button....... nothing happens! The  new icon theme is not shown in the 
list and I'm stumped. Clueless. 

Can one of the more experianced people out there assist me?

These icons are very very cool and I am willing to do some work to get them 
working, but I have no idea why the process fails!
