That is the most arrogant about face I have ever seen. It was *me* saying
that he should check another app to make sure his system could do DNS
lookups correctly.

It was *YOU* who was saying that is stupid to do so and the only important
thing is to prove that Kmail can do lookups.

Well we all know Kmail can use the system for lookups but his wasn't so it
was a simple matter to see if the system was failing to do lookups or if his
kmail settings were wrong.

You SPECIFICALLY negated the idea of checking with another app, mail client,
browser or whatever so your latest post just shows your apalling ignorance
and the level of deceit you are prepared to go to in masking your
incompetence.

You should apologise to Daniel for misleading him, luckily he had the
intelligence to see that it was important to see if the system could do DNS
lookups and by finding it could not has narrowed the field considerably.

Finally, I would rather be pigheaded and *right* and help people than be
pig-ignorant and confuse people.

And now you would have people believe that mail programs do some sort of
special magic DNS lookups that other internet apps don't.. Hehehe!!!
