Well, I'm actually going to have to concur with you. I don't think the
command-line notification works either. I have only spent a half-hour on it,
but trying to get a test appointment to use my paging script at all, has
resulted in futility. I've turned on debugging (using kdebugdialog) all the
way up, and all I see is a bunch of "read the file, checked alarms, checked
slots" sort of things. At no time does it generate output from the line:
kdDebug() << "Starting program: '" << program << "'" << endl;
(kalarmd/alarmdialog.h) which I would certainly expect it to if it was taking
that code path!

Anyways, I will undoubtably not have time to look at this over the weekend
(I'm one of those rarities that have more time at work than at home) but if
somebody (read: Cornelius) wants to see if Matt and I are just smoking El
Wacky Weed or not, that would be great. To reproduce, just write a script
that does something, then try and have it fired off as a reminded.

Oh, and I'm using the debian packages, which are KDE_3_0_BRANCH, not HEAD, so
maybe there's a difference there? Dunno what Matts using.
