Unfortunately, that's not it. Those are the API calls for applications
running _on_the_pilot_ to query the password -- not what an application on
the outside needs to do. Further queries should probably go to the
pilot-link-devel list (forget the address), but I don't feel like pursuing
that right now. Maybe you can?
