If somebody would like to implement and maintain a db backend for libkabc, I 
wouldn't have any objections ;-)

How would you access the data from the Type class? Hmm, I think we have to 
discuss this on the base of real code. The difficulty lies in getting all 
details right and that is hard to judge without code.
