The example here shows a hierarchy (a tree or whatever...) - so what about
extending knotes this way? A treeview on the left, an editor part on the
right and some special event handling for links/URL's, mailto's, etc...
(just an idea...)

I do not doubt that this emacs addon is cool (especially for us/developers),
but I bet usability tests would give horrible results :)

What we can do is provide a syntax highlighting file and code folding. Right
now we do not support "clickable" hyperlinks in the document etc. (though
there are afaik plans to support this).

just some thoughts...
