Subject: Re: [Kde-pim] PIM Integration for Editor with code folding

Hi

In a GUI world, I don't think a text editor is the right thing for
project management.
I think a real treeview with an associated detail view (kmail (or todo
list, korganizer for calendars or a text editor for notes)) which has an
filter on some kind of metatags/custom properties applied would be more
the way to go.

Contact | Project1 |
Part | | |
Chooser | |-Calendar |
| |-Mails |
| | |-Received |
| | |-Sent |
| |-Notes |
| | |-Note1 |
| | |-Note2 |
| | | Note3 |
| |-Todos |
| | Detail view
| Project2 |
| | |
| |-Calendar |
| |-Mails |
| | |-Received |
| | |-Sent |
| |-Notes |
| | |-Note1 |
| | |-Note2 |
| | | Note3 |
| |-Todos |

Perhaps an export to emacs or other text file formats could be usefull
too, but not as a primary representation

Are there other shortcomings, except for no dynamic integration with
kontact data ?

Kind regards
