How to deal with unwilling devs?: msg#00259kde-usability
Hi. About a half year ago, we had a discussion about shortcuts -- most notably how windows and applications are closed. While not all of my suggestions received widespread acceptance and didn't come to a conclusion on every detail, we agreed on some basics, like Ctrl-Q should always quit an app. The HIG was modified accordingly. Shame on me, I didn't post the conclusions right away on Bugzilla, but now I did and the result was not really what I've hoped for. Christophe Giboudeaux closed the bug report for KMail as "Invalid": https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=200684 Not only that, he refuses to do steps of his own to discuss that matter further, instead (and I quote) "Celeste may come and discuss about this topic on the kde-pim mailing list" which sounds like a pretty arrogant attitude to me. In a weird way, I like the Kopete team's response better. They simply ignore the bug report completely: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=200683 Now what? -- Markus _______________________________________________ kde-usability mailing list kde-usability@xxxxxxx https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-usability
