[Bug 202126] New: Can't distinguish between suppressions for invalid reads : msg#19575kde-bugs-dist
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=202126 Summary: Can't distinguish between suppressions for invalid reads and invalid writes Product: valgrind Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: memcheck AssignedTo: jseward@xxxxxxx ReportedBy: dank@xxxxxxxxx Version: (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources I would like to never suppress invalid write errors, but the current suppression format is not expressive enough to allow this. It lumps both invalid read and invalid wries together as 'Addr4' or the like. Please split the two so that suppressions are both generated and accepted in a format that can distinguish between the two. (And accept the old format for compatibility.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
