Subject: [xwt-users] preapply syntax - pleace voice opinion

There's a heated, vicious debate going on in the core list. Could you
spare us more blood and severed limbs by stating which of these you
prefer and why:

Syntax 1)
<namespace:preapply>template1 template2 template3</preapply>

Syntax 2)
path.to.namespace..template1(.template2(.template3(target)));

Tiny bit of background - Adam's reason for changing:

"Once you've finished preapplying the template, there is absolutely no
relationship between the template and the box. This has *always* been
the case, since day one -- this isn't some newfangled Nitrogen
concept.

It's not like Java where if object 'o' is an instance of class 'a'
which extends class 'b', you still have a fundamental connection
between 'o' and 'a' after the constructor finishes executing."

Myself, I believe that the word 'apply' doesn't have the same attachment
connotation as 'inherits'. I also think there's a lot of muddy semantic
ground here so don't think about it too hard, just go with the syntax
that makes most sense to you.
