The problem is with the TimeZone itself... (TimeZone.getTimeZone("UTC"))
You are setting the date as 0h 0 min, 18th...
So if you request the calendar time (getTime()), it will return the
time in your timezone.... joergs time zone is probably ahead of UTC,
so no problem... he is still on the 18th...
Me (for sure) and BAMBOO are probably before UTC, so it returns the
17th (23:00 hours)...

newbie question about ObjectInputStream
Looking at the Object Stream Tutorial and API on ObjectInputStream object I see that readObject throws java.io.EOFExceptionwhen there are no more objects in the stream. Is there some way to test if the stream is at its end?
The ObjectInputStream doesn't appear to have a method likeboolean hasMoreObjects() or any other boolean that method that will do the trick.Could this be added? Its kind of ugly to read objects until an EOF
Exception is generated.thanks,dm-- David Marshallhttp://www.cs.umass.edu/~marshall

I already knew that I am gonna regret it to add this test ;-)
Yeah, I 've seen it failing already yesterday, but had no time...
