I would say yet, if you are willing to do the work.  :-)

Now, in his thesis, David Belanger's  notes that it would be quite
important to add a code optimizer to SableJIT.  At least, a peephole
optimizer would be a nice and welcome start!  SableJIT, in its current
state is a really neat back-end abstraction layer, but it has no
optimizer, so it does not deliver optimizing-JIT performance.
