Funambol <--> Other SyncML server?: msg#00226java.sync4j.user
Hi! I have a need to synchronize Funambol and other existing SyncML server. We have custom calendar program which synchronizes with our syncml server. The problem is that it's not really possible to extend either the calendar to be a real SynML client or the SyncML server to talk to other software (at least easily). And our needs have expanded to sync addressbooks, notes, etc... I could just install Funambol and make it sync everything else but calendars, but for users it would be much easier to have just one SyncML server (and not two). Everything would be easy if I could make either Funambol or our server to behave as SyncML clients. Getting our server to behave as SyncML client is again pretty much impossible, so I hope it's easier with Funambol. I saw someone somewhere (I forgot to bookmark the page and can't find it anymore) to say that there might be a way to get Funambol behave as SyncML client, but I haven't found anything really to support that. Is it possible with current connectors, or would I need to write my own? Or write some software to sit between the two servers? t11n ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
