Problem syncing k700i

Thanks for the response but I still seem to be having problem getting the 
server to recognise the sync request from my k700i.
in regards to whether my server is reachable from the internet, it seems it 
is because i can browse the apache(http://myip.com:port) and 
funambol(http://myip.com:port/funambol) on my phone using the same GPRS 
account.
Im not too sure why the "session failed Invalid server response" message 
keeps coming up when i try syncing with the same settings.Nothing appears in 
the logs either....pretty strange.
I have disabled my firewall and port forwarding seems to be working
Please assist.

Hi everyone,
I have just started using Funambol 3 bundle and seem to have run into a few 
problems. I have already tested the http://localhost:8080/pimweb and 
http://localhost:8080/funambol and that seems to work fine.
I have also setup my webserver address and im able to access funambol server 
from another computer. The outlook plugin also seems to work fine with my 
server uri from another computer set up us 
http://mydomain.net:8080/funambol/ds. Now the problem seems to be when i try 
from a SYNCML phone(Sony ericsson k700i) with the same settings, i get an 
"invalid server response" error and the server logs do not have any entry of 
my attempt.It seems i am not getting through as no entry is either visible 
in the users module
Please tell me if im missing something, i suspect maybe a router 
misconfiguration but if so why does the outlook plugin work?
