Fatal error creating the PersistantStore object: msg#00153java.sync4j.user
Hi all, I am attempting to setup Funambol on a Linux installation, and I am having a number of problems. (The server I'm using is Tomcat 5.0.) First of all, I am trying to allow users to use the URI http://sync.earnware.com/ without the subdirectories such as http://sync.earnware.com/funambol/ds. Is this possible with the way Funambol works? I have tried editing some of the virtual host entries so that going to that specific URI will use the webapps/funambol/ds as the baseApp. Has anyone done this before? Second, as my subject states, I am receiving the "Fatal error creating the PersistantStore object" error in the logs. This happens when I connect to http://63.251.113.83/funambol/ds (the IP address of the Funambol server - to bypass virtual host settings). The full error is below: Lastly, I cannot connect to the Funambol server from my own workstation. I keep getting "Host not found or not reachable" using either the IP address of the server or the sync.earnware.com host name. I'm tempted to start from scratch, but if anyone has a better idea, please let me know. I've already spent too much time on this as it is.
