peer-to-peer and RMI: msg#00036java.sun.rmi
I need make a small project (a simple game to a local network) involving RMI and peer-to-peer. I thought a first instance making a multicast to the group to search if anybody exist, if no, this instance will be a rmi server, otherwise will be connect to the server (suppose the first will be the server). And the same for the anothers. Is the server is down, a new multicast (datagram) will be sent for all to elect a new leader, this leader is the new RMI server. What do you thing of this idea? Another suggestion? If anybody have some example that can help me... Thank you in advance, Fabricio _______________________________________________________ Yahoo!
