This is caused by having more than one negative case values in a
switch statement, on old Siemens devices.
No wonder I gave my S55 away and have not touched a Siemens handset again
;-)
Sadly as you may or may not know the Java TCK is not actually the most
stringent testing suite and so loads of these crazy bugs get through.
For example read any posting on the Motorola T720 ;-) LOL

Have you:
1. Preverified the MIDlet using Siemens preverifier and class library?
2. Are you sure the MANIFEST.MF and the MIDlet JAD files are the same
(where
applicable)?
I have noticed that this phone keeps a cached version of the JAD, and thus
fails any subsequent installation even if I fixed the "bad" JAD. I had to
reset the device in order to force it to download the JAD again. To do
that,
click the left green button when inside the browser, then choose More, then
choose Reset.
If even this fails, you should be aware of another bug in the device, which
manifests it self as "Error verifying class <classname>" when the MIDlet is
loaded. This is caused by having more than one negative case values in a
switch statement, on old Siemens devices.
