Re: IBM's J9 for PocketPC 2002: msg#00236java.sun.kvm
J9 is J9. We support multiple class libraries with the same core VM technology developed from the ground up. It is neither a KVM or a CVM port. Regarding performance, we support both a JIT and AOT (ahead of time compile) on targets like PocketPC. The JSR specification dictates the class library support required and is tested by the TCK. ---- Ken Walker, J9 Class Library Team Leader IBM Ottawa Lab ken_walker@xxxxxxxxxx =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to listserv@xxxxxxxxxxxx and include in the body of the message "signoff KVM-INTEREST".
