Hi,

OK the solution is as follows.

MIDP 2.0 IS backwardly compatible with MIDP 1.0, however the security model
affects things.

You will get a "no_ams_auth" message if the following happens:

(1) You have still got your stub classes to any of the javax packages in
there
(2) You have not set the profile to MIDP 2.0
(3) You have not set the MIDlet version to 2.0

Be warned the WTK 2 DOES NOT set the MIDlet property automatically to 2.0,
you must do this by changing the MIDlet project settings.

You will also get annoying pop ups whenever you try to do certain things.
