Fromm my experience with ASP.net web services you can also make requests to web
services using HTTP get and post. I would imagine it depends on the parameters
being passed to the script (i.e. only simple string and integers - no objects
or arrays). If you type in the url of the asmx file into your browser the .net
framework will generate a html page which will show you how to format your post
and get requests. Parsing the response is just a simple xml parsing task.
