Hi all
ibm's j9 runtime is included with the pocketpc placelab distribution (in
the file
http://placelab.org/toolkit/download/releases/2.0/placelab-wince-2.0.zip)
J9 is not open source, it's a commercial product from ibm (though it's
quite cheap). I tried to carefully read j9's license agreement, both
from placelab third parties license agreements page
(http://placelab.org/toolkit/doc/complic.html) and from IBM's sources. I
still don't understand what terms in these agreements give placelab
project the right to redistribute the j9 runtime.
Could someone explain me or point me to the right documentations
explaining how this is legally possible ? (i'm not a native english
speaker so i may have missed something in the license agreement)
cheers
Matthieu
