Hi All,
Not sure if this is well known or not...
Anyway, before running any of the Place Lab demos, I can use
my WinXP laptop to see what wireless networks are available
and select one to connect to. This is done via the built-in
wireless networking control panel.
However, after running any of the demos, the screen now
saws that Windows cannot configure the wireless connection,
and that if you have enabled another program to manage
this wireless connection, then use that program instead.
It also mentions that something about Windows Wireless Zero
Config.
This issue came about when I was working on Place Lab at
one place with one hotspot, then hibernated my computer,
and then moved to another place to resume work, only
to have no wireless connection.
I also tried doing a before-after comparison of the task
manager to see if there was a process to kill that would
solve this, but didn't see any diffs (maybe I missed it?)
