I agree with James that the Bluetooth
units are the coolest, but if you want to really go the bargain basement route,
most handheld GPS units have a serial output on them, so if you’ve got an
old handheld lying around, you might already have what you need. (And you won’t
need Bluetooth on your laptop/PDA).

Hi,
We are about to map our WiFi access points in longitude, latitude coordinates and looking for a (not too expensive) GPS receiver. Which brands have been used successfully with place lab software? We want to map indoor access points and I was wondering how people did that especially that you do not have GPS reception indoors?
