Initial Comment:
This is a follow-up to #687404 (as requested by
David Blevens).  I have a Pentium-4 PC with XP
and Apache/Tomcat, where I did the following:

1) deployed openejb_loader-0.9.1.war into the
"webapps" sub-directory of Tomcat (4.1.18)
2) modified openejb_loader-0.9.1\WEB-INF\web.xml:
<param-value>C:\openejb-0.9.1</param-value>
3) restarted Tomcat

I saw a stack trace regarding a non-existent log
directory (that's the essence of 687404).  The
only reason I noticed that something was amiss
vis-a-vis Cocoon is because I have a JSP page
in the Cocoon web-app, and it's displayed
whenever I launch my browser; but after having
deployed openEJB this web page was blank.
Everything works fine after I remove openEJB 
from the webapp directory.  If you want to see 
the stack trace, it's included in 687404.

I'm sorry I don't have more useful information to
provide:(
