Subject: RE: AW: MDB discussion

This is definitely something you should start digging into.

You will not need to stop your webadmin work now and become a JMX expert
overnight. Go ahead with the webadmin as it is now. After the first
release of the webadmin in 1.0, I suspect we will need to go back and
JMX'ify the admin and deployment aspects of OpenEJB. It should allow is
to write a single JMX api then revamp our different user interfaces
(HTTP, Telnet, Console) to use that.

But don't worry about those details now. Just go get a JMX book or
something and start thinking about how you might solve the problem. You
mentioned your friend Tobias was interested in helping out down the
road, is this something he may be interested in teaming with you on?
