One other thing I have a question about. Alan mentioned something about
using JMX. Is this something I should consider with the webadmin? I
have heard about it, but haven't looked into it yet.

There isn't much urgent work to do on it now. It's just easier to group
it with the other admin interfaces as there is huge crossover.
Zack, I remember you saying you had some things you wanted to add to the
webadmin. Do you have any info on that?

Subject: Re: [OpenEJB-dev] AW: MDB discussion
Sounds good to me. I'm a little weak on the telnet part, but
aside from
that I should be alright. What's involved?

How about this for an approach:
David & Alan: Transaction integration. We would need to get
Tyrex 1.0
integrated in there. Complete tests for container-managed
transaction
attributes. Tests for distributed transactions. Now that I
list out
even some of the work, I'm crazy if I think I can get it all done by
myself.
Daniel & Jacek: CMP 2.0. CMP is much better for starting as it
requires no change to the OpenEJB architecture. MDB support
requires
the addition of asynchronous communication, a revamp of connector
support. It touches pretty much all the architecture on one way or
another.
Tim & unnamed: Admin and Deployment Support. This includes
the HTTP,
Telnet, and Console deployment and admin pieces.
How does this sound?
I think breaking up the project like this will really help
tighten the
team and the project.
