RE: AW: MDB discussion: msg#00049

java.openejb.devel

Subject: RE: AW: MDB discussion

How about this for an approach:

David & Alan: Transaction integration. We would need to get Tyrex 1.0
integrated in there. Complete tests for container-managed transaction
attributes. Tests for distributed transactions. Now that I list out
even some of the work, I'm crazy if I think I can get it all done by
myself.

Daniel & Jacek: CMP 2.0. CMP is much better for starting as it
requires no change to the OpenEJB architecture. MDB support requires
the addition of asynchronous communication, a revamp of connector
support. It touches pretty much all the architecture on one way or
another.

Tim & unnamed: Admin and Deployment Support. This includes the HTTP,
Telnet, and Console deployment and admin pieces.

How does this sound?

I think breaking up the project like this will really help tighten the
team and the project.

-David
