Yup,
but after the vote.
You should when the time as come (after 72 hours)
send a vote result counting the voices.
Then just in the microsecond after, perform the release.

Raphaël

ps: as i just called a vote for a new committer, i have to follow the same steps :
1 wait for the end of voting time
2 count the votes (and check about the real committers votes using xcircle)
3 send a result email
4 send an email to David to inform him about the procedure.

pps: even if i'm agree with you with speeding the release. even if the process is not followed, its fine for me.

ppps: is there a formalised procedure on voting at mojo ?

only 2 (+1)  from committers? ;-) may be more votes from actual users to feel my time was worthed ;-)

Any how, if there is no objection, I will release it tomorrow.

Please let the 72 hours some other committers have'nt had the time to vote  :)
