jndi (again!): msg#00155java.jetty.support
I've seen this question asked before, however I'm not sure I agree with the answer, there has to be other options. I really would like to have a JDNI Server with Jetty. I understand, Jetty=small/lightweight/embeddable. I know this already, that is why I am using it- I got it trimmed down and embedded in an hour or so. The answer given in the past is to "use JBoss". JBoss='large/not easily embeddable/full J2EE stack' which in my case = 'big overkill'. Is there not a open source JNDI provider that could run along side Jetty or be embedded? Essentially, I really want the functionality that Tomcat provides in this area, but I want to use Jetty. Unfortunately Tomcat's JNDI stuff doesn't seem to be a separate project.
