jetty locks jars in WEB-INF/lib?

  I use jboss-3.0.4 (with jetty 4.1.3). After webapp is deployed I cannot delete jars in WEB-INF/lib under Windows. I can overwrite them but after that jetty reports broken ZIP structure when trying to redeploy the webapp. Is that the supposed behaviour?
