http://www.linuxguruz.org/iptables/howto/iptables-HOWTO.html: msg#00093java.jetty.support
Ratan If you are running under Linux the easiest and most efficient way to block a specific address is by using Linux's 'iptables' - which filters inbound packets before they get to port 8080 (and hence before they get to Jetty). Look at http://www.linuxguruz.org/iptables/howto/iptables-HOWTO.html I don't know if there is an equivalent function under Windows. >From your urgency it sounds like you have a specific site giving you a problem. If you want to do it all in Jetty you could write a simple Java Filter which would return something like '400 Forbidden' to any request from that host. Say if you need help with this - I've got something close to what you need. Chris Haynes ------------------------ Yahoo!
