centralized JBoss 3.0 installation

are there any instructions on how to setup JBoss 3.0 + Tomcat 4 bundle so
that there is only one installed distribution which contains the necessary
JBoss and Tomcat classes etc. with several JBoss/Tomcat instances sharing
the common parts but each with different configuration, log files and
deployment directories?
