Jasper is for generating reports.

The implementation is just a class which generates the report based on a compiled template file.

Of course you can abstract the class further.

 

I'm not sure what you want to do -- could you pelase elaborate?

hai all,

I am looking at setting up a JasperServer to handle all report requests  for my application .I want  to connect jasper server from my application ,to  check report status, retrieve lists of available reports etc ,i need an external acces to jasper from my program . I heared of  WebServices but i am new to this area ,and i   am not able to do  due to lack of documents .

 

please help me regarding this,
