using summary band

Hi,

 

Jasper 1.2.4 on Win XP, Java 5, with iReports.

 

I am using jasper reports extensively in my web application.

However, I am stumped on this one problem.

I need to use groups in the summary band.

I have created the group and set the fields to repeat, but they don't.

How can I do that?

 

For every repeating group in the detail band,

I need a new row to be added to the summary band.

How do I achieve this?

 

If you can direct me to some documentation that would be great.

If you need some more info, plz let me know.
