Oh okay. I will update that link as soon as possible. The Kerberos authentication provided by JAAS is different than what is required to do SPNEGO (the negotiation, etc.).

What I noticed in the release notes was under the New Feature section:

The JIRA issue mentions JAAS, so I wasn't sure. Looking at it more
closely, I guess those really are the
3.0.5 release notes (main
download page is linking to them right under the 3.0.6 release).
