Re: Linux launcher for ImageJ: msg#00260

java.imagej

Subject: Re: Linux launcher for ImageJ

I've written a little script that will run ImageJ direct,
without the use of a command line to integrate it with my
Linux desktop. I'm happy to submit this as an enhancement (a
desktop cannot directly execute the run command of the
ImageJ file), however I'd like to get an ImageJ button
functioning (relatively trivial using the freedesktop specs)
but cannot find the ImageJ microscope icon. Where is this
located? I'm happy to contribute these additions to further
ImageJ releases.

The ImageJ icon used on on Mac OS X is available at

It is based on a photograph by Tom Grill (http://www.tomgrill.com/) of a Hartnack microscope, circa 1870's, at <http://www.arsmachina.com/s-hart1209.htm>.
