Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Tim Miller (timothypmiller) >Assigned to: Marc Guillemot (mguillem) Summary: Support for onkeypress Initial Comment: When an onkeypress appears in an input field and the user performs the action in that field. The Javascript defined for the onkeypress function should be invoked. The Javascript function that is invoked may be defined directly in the page or it may be defined in a .js file which is included in the page. In either case the Javascript function should be invoked. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Marc Guillemot (mguillem) Date: 2006-03-01 16:01 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=402164 Now implemented in CVS thanks to specialbrad's patch. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bradley Murray (specialbrad) Date: 2006-02-22 17:15 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1269316 See patch http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1436102&group_id=47038&atid=448268 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marc Guillemot (mguillem) Date: 2006-02-20 19:48 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=402164 remember too that a text field can be filled with Paste shortcut or right mouse click and paste option ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bradley Murray (specialbrad) Date: 2006-02-20 17:45 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1269316 alright, when you fill out an element by setting a value, for example filling out a textfield, should onkeydown be fired for each letter thats input (like what would happen in a browser) or would we just want a way of firing the event manually (like pressKey as suggested)? I'm working on this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bradley Murray (specialbrad) Date: 2006-02-14 15:28 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1269316 pretty much, a similar interface to click() would be appropriate. If you could possibly show a snippet of how it might be done I wouldn't mind implementing/submitting it. See the support request I posted a couple days ago. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marc Guillemot (mguillem) Date: 2006-02-14 13:33 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=402164 do you have propositions how usage could look like? Do you think something like someElt.pressKey(String)? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bradley Murray (specialbrad) Date: 2006-02-13 23:25 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1269316 I would also appreciate this feature. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=448269&aid=1217134&group_id=47038 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
